I have adored kids from a young age. My most rewarding and happiest period began when I gave birth to my daughter, Michaela.
There is nothing more important and no better legacy one can leave behind than raising happy, healthy children and providing them with the best possible foundation for a good life.

Areti Gagaoudakis
Founder + Chief Kids Officer
As the co-founder of Kids Childcare + Preschool, Areti dedicates her time and experiences at service of those she cares for and loves the most, kids!
Areti has developed the Curriculum of Kids Childcare + Preschool based on these 5 Pillars:

- Reggio Emilia
- S.T.E.A.M
Areti was born and raised in Montreal with an educational background in Health Sciences and Business Administration. She is fluently trilingual in English, French and Greek. As an active mother of a young daughter she understands today’s pressures, challenges and endless joys of raising kids. Her career has spanned from banking, the shipping industry and education. While raising her daughter Michaela. Areti worked as an English language educator in Greece.
Areti came back home to Canada with her daughter because she wanted her to be raised in the best country in the world and offer to her all that Canada has to offer; education, a better life and limitless opportunities.
She co-founded Kids Childcare + Preschool with the ambition to redefine childcare in Canada by creating a new high standard.
She always says “All we have is love and we cannot wait to share it with you!”

Kimberly Duff
Superhero Chef
Master Chef Canada Season 4
Kimberly was on Season 4 of Master Chef Canada, where she displayed her cooking skills and impressed with her culinary creativity. Her passion for cooking and trying new recipes started from a young age as she loved being in the kitchen more than anywhere else. Today, Kimberly, shares her skills and knowledge by passing on to others what she has acquired in the kitchen, love for food. Kimberly and her 10 year old daughter Nevaeh (Heaven spelled backwards) love to do arts and crafts together and build snowmen in the winter.

Advisory Board
Susan Connell
Retired Early Childhood Educator
After graduating from the Norland Nursery Training College in England, Susan embarked on her Early Childhood Education journey. She emigrated to Canada where she received her ECE equivalency and began her long and very rewarding career in the field.
Her first position was in a brand new centre in Oakville Ontario and, with no training or experience, she found herself in the Supervisor’s chair! She held this position for two years.
However, Susan missed being in the classroom so she returned to the children and for a few years she worked extensively with all the age groups.
An opportunity arose and once again she found herself back in the office in the role of Supervisor! It was obvious that this was where her heart lay. She has a deep set passion for quality child care, and she realized that being in the Supervisor’s role allowed her to make sure that standards were being met and indeed, being surpassed.
After a career that lasted almost 50 years, Susan has now retired.
Even in retirement, quality child care is still her passion and she continues to promote it whenever she has the opportunity!

Ms Lorellie Munson
Elementary School Principal
Having over 20 years experience, Ms. Munson has been an Educator with many diverse roles. From being a teacher from grades 1-8 to a Literacy & Assessment Curriculum Consultant to a Vice-Principal to now a Principal of an elementary school, Ms. Munson is honoured to be a part of the Advisory Board at Kids Childcare + Preschool.
Her experiences include and is not exclusive to leading learning groups across the province, developing creating workshops, membership of various steering committees, co-writing teacher professional resource, advising on children’s resources, developing large-scale conferences, presenting to a range of province-wide and international audiences, and online development of resources.
Constantly learning and relearning new innovative, research-based teaching and assessing strategies for the young mind for literacy, math, and self-regulation acquisition is one of Ms. Munson’s passion.
After all, it is her Superhero mission to ensure all children reach their potential for growth.

Mr. Anthony (Tony) Kelly
CCPI
Mr. Kelly has more 30 years of experience of owning and operating his own playground company.
Over the decades, he has designed and installed playgrounds for schools, condominiums, day cares and public parks.
While he semi-retired, he continues to be a member of the Canadian Association of Playground Practitioners.
